Can Remember forgetting What I never knew....

I have a problem. A problem that I can not solve. When I hear a certain sound, it triggers a memory—well, the start of a memory—and the problem is that I don't remember the memory. I know that I should remember it because it happens every time I hear this sound. Every time... it happened the very first time I can recall hearing this sound. Another problem to add to the confusion is that the sound is in a song, and I can't isolate that particular sound to loop it and see if that would help somehow. I don't know, really. Heck, even right now, thinking about this sound sparks that same feeling, like I've forgotten something I was supposed to remember. That can't be the case, though, because I was in the eighth grade when I first ever even heard this sound. It was a slim chance that I even came across this sound. STORY TIME. I stole a cassette tape of Twista's Adrenaline Rush and fell in love with the Midwest flow. On that album, there's a song named "Get It Wet." On that beat, in the beginning, there's this twang. That's the only way I can describe it. It's closely followed by another sound that totally kicks the memory out before it even gets a chance to make my brain get ready to remember. That was a short story. I stole a cassette tape... but that sound. What does that memory hide? I wish there was some way to unlock this phantom memory. I guess that's all I wanted to talk about. If anyone knows if there's a name for whatever this is, then please let me know. Maybe the men in black... never mind.
